摘要

Samples of Sphagnum peat bog with a transitional vegetation type from an area of the Bakchar marshes, Tomsk oblast', Siberia were investigated with regard to mass, volume, pH, ash content, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Co, Cd, Pb, Cr, Ni and Cr:Ni ratio. Sampleswere taken both from slightly elevated areas covered by Sphagnum (from depths of 0-230 cm) and from depressions in the bog (from depths of 0-200 cm). Results are compared with data from recent literature, and it is suggested that comparative analysis ofbog plant and bog composition with regard to Cr:Ni and ash content be used as a means of monitoring pollution from lithogenic substances and changes to the mobile fractions of heavy metals in bogs.
