Data are tabulated on the effects of the following treatments on potato yield and quality: (1) 40 t manure/ha under maize; (2) 60 N + 60 P + 95 K under maize; (3) treatment (1) + (2); (4) 40 t manure/ha under potatoes; (5) 60 N + 60 P + 95 K under potatoes; (6) treatments (4) + (5); (7) treatments (2) + (4); (8) treatments (2) + (5); (9) treatments (1) + (4); and (10) treatments (3) + (6), in an experiment from 1995-1997 on a grey forest soil in West Siberia, Russia. The application time of fertilizer in the rotation did not have a substantial effect on the chemical composition of potato tubers.
