Some problems of ecology and systematics of the fossil Populus L. representatives from the Late Miocene Ust'Suifun suite of Primorye are discussed. The species distinguished earlier are described briefly. The description (from leaf imprints) of the new fossil poplar species P. ustsuifunensis Pavlyutkin is given.
