Rice Fruit Company is one of the largest packers and marketers of apples in the eastern half of the U.S. Currently we pack about 2.5 million bushels of apples, and we market another half million cases for other eastern packers. As a result, we are intimately familiar with the trials and tribulations of the apple market—especially this year when the country produced a record crop of apples.
