This article analyzes the three concepts of "I-JIN", "I-GYO", and "KAKU-I" in the physiologist Kunihiko Hashida's (1882-1945) idea of "medicine". According to Hashida's theory, "I-JIN" is the medical professional who realizes all of the idea of "medicine". "I-GYO" is the actual practice of "medicine" through a medical professional's internal negotiation of "how do I practice my own medicine as I-JIN?" "KAKU-I" is a system of clarifying the idea of "Medicine".
