摘要

A case of extreme vasovagal response to small amount of Hyaluronic acid injection is reported. Immediately after 0.2m/ of the injection, a patient developed bradycardia, diaphoresis followed by tonic convulsion and a witnessed ventricular fibrillation that is reversed with use of AED, IV infusion, epinephrine and a care in ICU at a local hospital. The patient recovered fully without sequalae. The "needle phobia", recently recognized disease entity in the western countries sometimes resulted in deadly vasovagal response. We introduce the previously reported cases and the causes of the events of the current case were analyzed.
