摘要

Public concerns about the environment will promote the diffusion of distributed power resources. Distributed power resources can easily achieve high efficiency in energy usage. IHI has developed various types of distributed co-generation system such as the fuel cell, gas engine, diesel engine and gas turbine. On the other hand, the bio-reactor occupies the attention of the energy field. The bio-reactor can dispose of organic wastes and produce methane gas. This gas can be applied to gas engines and gas turbines, and realizes a high efficiency and environmentally friendly system. This report discusses mainly gas engine and diesel engine co-generation systems as part of IHI's distributed power resources strategy and the aims related to the energy field.
