摘要

We have established in our previous work [1] that a-methyl-substituted furan compounds are subjected to the ring expansion when passed over the tungsten catalyst both with the preservation of the a-methyl group and with its participation in the'ring expansion process. In the present communication we studied the transformations of nitrogeneous heterocycles containing the methyl substituent in the position 1 - at the heteroatom. The results of conversions of N-methylpyrrolc and N-methylpyrrolidine on the tungsten catalyst are reported in the Table.
