摘要

The combination of IDO (Interpolated Differential Operator) scheme. Cut Cell technique, and overlapping grid method make it possible to simulate the falling process of papers. We have the result of the falling with fluttering trajectory for a certain initial angle of the paper, and the fluttering mechanisms becomes clear. It is shown that the simulation is applicable to the phenomena of falling leaves with complex shape.
