摘要

Fluorescence banding patterns were studied in the chromosomes of Cornish, Australorp, Plymouth Rock, Brown Leghorn, bantam, New Hampshire and Uzbek fowls, using staining with chromomycin A3 (CMA) and distamycin (DA). An idiogram is given depicting the distribution of the bands in fowls of the 7 groups, and the frequencies of the CMA/DA-positive blocks are tabulated.
