摘要

The objective of this study is to clarify the relationships between soil mixing characteristics and effective configurations of rotary blade using the reverse-rotational rotary tiller for deep tillage. The soil mixing characteristics is one of the important factors for crop cultivation. This paper proposes a new soil mixing model based on the particle kinetics model for tilled soil backward throwing. This model includes the clod size and the duration of tilled soil flight as parameters. Thesimulated result shows that the soil mixing characteristics are related to the rotary blade configuration, the soil cutting angle (Φ{sub}1) and the central angle of the scoop surface (Φ).
