摘要

A rotary type planting mechanism for a zigzag rice transplanter was developed. This mechanism isbased on the rotary type planting mechanism of a high speed rice transplanter. It contains two spaciallocus planting mechanisms. A set of conical gears and a set of elliptical gears are used inside the rotary case to obtain the spacial locus. These cause a reciprocal motion in the planting finger axle, which is not parallel to the case rotating axle. Theplanting locus simulator was programmed on EWSusing the visual design of the spacial loci. Two different types of planting mechanisms were madewhich indicate the potential development of zigzag rice transplanters.
