摘要

A fuzzy logic-wavelet transform based energy management strategy for the composite power supply composed of battery and ultra-capacitor for robots is studied, and the fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is improved via employing input thresholds. It can grantee that battery (or ultra-capacitor) is used independently when the power requested from the robot drive system is small enough. Most of the high frequency power can be assigned to ultra-capacitor and the output power of battery becomes much smoother without increase in energy consumption. Thus, the lifetime of the composite power supply for robots can be prolonged effectively. These are verified by the model simulation.
