摘要

Steady thermal stresses in a hollow circular cylinder and a hollow sphere made of functionally graded material was analyzed theoretically under generalized thermal conditions. A perturbation method was applied to the analysis of temperature andthermal stress in a heterogeneous material whose properties were defined with one-dimensional arbitrary functions. The perturbation solutions had good convergence and accuracy with a few terms for functionally graded materials.
