摘要

In order to utilize the electronic patient record on the network and to advance "the sharing of medical information" among the plural medical staffs and institutions, we must pay attention to several important ethical Issues. Especially, we have to consider the two view points; "the right of patient's self-determination" on informed consent in Medical Ethics, and "the right to privacy" that were interpreted as the right to control the flow of information concerning or describing him (or her) in Information Ethics. We need to snake the rules of the application of the electronic medical information system, particularly to make the rules on "the sharing of medical information " very urgently.
