摘要

Autorace is a race track event in which riders on simple lightweight motorcycles reach speeds of up to 150km/h as they lap a 500m course counterclockwise. Methods of evaluating protective equipments were proposed to improve the protection of riders for Autorace. In this research, we evaluated the protective performance by calibration tests using a human dummy for which human tolerance was considered based on the probability of an abbreviated injury scale. Moreover, protective performances was compared between Autorace and other competitive sports. As a result, we were able to clarify the scope to increase the performance of protective equipments.
