摘要

In our article, formic acid under power ultrasound was assumed to be a reducing agent and also a OH' radical scavenger leading to the formation of carboxyl radical following reaction (1). Carboxyl radicals were then assumed to react with another hydroxyl radical via reaction (2). This reaction pathway was recently considered by other authors in order to explain the OHC radical scavenging effect of formic acid under ultrasonic irradiation.
