The European Commission has issued a draft working document outlining the work programme and data submission dates for the fourth round of renewing EU approvals of agrochemical active ingredients, named AIR-4. The programme covers 214 ais that have approvals expiring between January 1st 2019 and December 31st 2021. Those “presumed” to be “low-risk” or expected to fail to meet approval criteria will be prioritised in the evaluation programme.
