Japanese agrochemical company Agro-Kanesho recorded a 6.7% increase in consolidated sales to ￥14,600 million ($144.4 million at the current rate) in 2015. Non-consolidated revenues grew by 6.1% to ￥12,000 million ($118.7 million). Exports rose by 29.7% to ￥2,200 million ($21.8 million). The acaricide, Kanemite SC (acequinocyl), boosted sales in North America and contributed to the rise in exports, the company notes. It points to positive contributions from the insecticides, Pay-Off ME (flucythinate) and Benevia OD (DuPont’s cyantraniliprole). Sales of other insecticides were flat. The category saw a 3.9% rise in revenues to ￥1,900 million ($18.8 million) on a non-consolidated basis.
