摘要

Infrared (IR) spectroscopy is among the most powerful analytical techniques available today. IR spectra may be segmented into the near-, far-, and mid-infrared spectral regime, among which the mid-infrared region is the most widely used for molecular spectroscopy. Transmission-absorption spectroscopy is the most straightforward IR method for analyzing solid- and gas-phase samples. However, direct measurement of liquid-phase samples by using conventional Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy in the transmission mode is frequently limited by strong background absorptions of the matrix and usually requires thin-film transmission cells.
