Woodside Petroleum's partners in the Browse LNG venture in Western Australia have been given a four-month deadline to decide on their preferred development concept for the project under a government-imposed condition for granting retention leases at the fields. The venture must agree on a development theme for the project off Australia's far northwestern coast within 120 days and work toward a final investment decision (FID) within three years, the federal and Western Australian government said Wednesday in a statement.
