Crude, gasoline and heating oil futures fell sharply Tuesday on fears that the crisis in Japan - the world's third largest crude consumer - would curtail global economic growth and demand for crude oil. Nymex crude for April delivery fell $4.01 to settle at $97.18 per barrel while April Brent crude, trading on ICE Futures in London, lost $5.15 to settle at $108.52. Nymex April gasoline lost 15.74¢ at $2.8029 per gallon while April heating oil fell 11¢ to $2.9538/gallon.
