Facing a potential supply crunch, China is ordering a temporary halt to gasoil exports. The powerful National Development and Reform Commission said on Friday that the ban -which does not apply to Hong Kong and Macau -is intended to maintain control over supplies. The government also urged oil companies to ensure adequate supplies and to speed up the construction of facilities to hike products output.
