Light distillates in Asia are pulling in different directions, as naphtha disengages from gasoline. The Asia-Pacific gasoline market has been rising, lifted by improving US gasoline futures RBOB cracks (IOD Mar.29'12). But the Asia-Pacific naphtha market has been falling, dragged down by high arbitrage supply and softening demand.
