Royal Dutch Shell has signed an agreement to increase its shareholding in Norwegian gas supplier Gasnor from 4.1% to 100%. The $74 million deal will give Shell the ability to target new marine customers and create an LNG sales business before new environmental regulations are introduced in 2015. The acquisition will be completed by the third quarter of this year.
