Iran has raised the price of its crudes for April loading to Asia in line with higher official selling prices released last week by Saudi Arabia (IOD Mar.6'12). The increase suggests Iran does not intend to change its pricing formula despite a European Union embargo on Iranian oil, set to take effect in July, which will reduce its ability to sell in other markets (IOD Jan.24'12).
