UK-based explorer Tullow Oil made a record post-tax profit of $689 million in 2011 as production kicked in from its flagship Jubilee field development in Ghana, hiking output by 35% to 78,200 boe/d, the company said Wednesday. The dividend was doubled on the back of the strong profit, which was up from $90 million in 2010.
