Oil futures closed higher on Monday after a choppy trading session. Brent bounced off of a key support level as the dollar weakened, while US crude drew support from heating oil, which advanced on predictions of cold weather in the US northeast. Brent -- oil's de facto global price benchmark -- traded down towards $110 during the morning before experiencing a technical rebound.
