BP is reviewing security at its Algerian facilities as well as the security parameters for its assets globally with the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in the wake of the In Amenas hostage tragedy. The impact of the crisis is starting to be felt by international oil companies (IOCs) operating in the country although the full ramifications are yet to be realized, say diplomatic and security sources (IOD Jan.17'13).
