Royal Dutch Shell said it is making rapid progress on building India's first floating and storage regasification unit (FSRU) at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, on the country's east coast. Shell has submitted the draft environmental impact assessment report for the development of the proposed 5 million ton/yr terminal with the provincial pollution control board in Kakinada.
