Russia's blacklisted state oil producer Rosneft has completed seismic studies at its Vostochno-Sibirsky-1 area in the East Siberian Sea as part of its ambitious Arctic plans, the company announced Thursday. Rosneft said the work included 2-D seismic studies covering 2,000 km, which were carried out by Rosneft's RN-Shelf-Far East affiliate from the scientific research vessel, Orient Explorer (IOD Oct.14'14).
