Russia's regional producer Bashneft is expecting robust investments for 2014 to help the company meet its ambitious targets in both the company's upstream and downstream divisions. On a conference call last week accompanying its financial results for 2014, Bashneft said it aims to spend 15 billion rubles ($425.5 million) on its upstream projects. Another 15 billion rubles has been allocated for downstream activity, while a separate investment includes the development of the giant Trebs and Titov fields in the oil-rich Timan-Pechora region. These fields are being developed in partnership with privately held Lukoil. Total investments in the project are estimated at 18 billion rubles.
