UK North Sea-focused niche explorer Hurricane Energy plans to list its shares on London's junior Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in February after raising further funds for appraisal drilling West of Shetland, the company said Wednesday. Hurricane, which focuses on drilling in fractured basement reservoirs in the North Atlantic, plans to raise around ￡18 million ($30 million) from investors by placing over 41.8 million new shares at 43 pence each in an initial public offering, valuing the company at around ￡272 million ($450 million).
