With a deadline for acceptance now less than a week away, Canadian Oil Sands (COS) has again advised stockholders to reject a hostile takeover bid from Suncor Energy, urging them to simply ignore what it describes as a "lowball" offer. "Suncor wants you to believe that the collapse in oil prices will last forever," COS said in a letter to investors on Tuesday. "But no one -- not even Suncor -- believes that. Oil prices will recover and COS shareholders will benefit far more than Suncor's."
