Italy's Eni has inked two key agreements with Indonesian state Pertamina to sell 1.4 million tons/yr of LNG from its Jangkrik fields offshore East Kalimantan, which will be liquefied at the Bontang LNG plant (IOD Jun.12'15). "It is one of the first deepwater gas projects in Indonesia being developed under a fast-track scheme, and confirms Eni's commitment in supplying gas for the development of the Indonesian domestic market," Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi said Tuesday.
