Oil-rich Kirkuk has not been getting enough financial support from Iraq's central government or the semiautonomous Kurdistan region and will do whatever it takes to ease its financial crisis, the province's powerful Gov. Najmaddin Karim told International Oil Daily in an interview. Despite several meetings with Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, Baghdad has not been responsive to Kirkuk's plight, says Karim.
