Saudi Arabia is now Europe's fourth-largest diesel trading partner, as well as the region's top overseas supplier of jet fuel, as the kingdom looks to diversify away from traditional crude oil exports into cleaner product sales. The latest figures from the International Energy Agency show Saudi Arabia sending 3.26 million metric tons (88,900 barrels per day) of diesel to OECD Europe in the eight months to end-September, up from barely 10,000 b/d last year.
