India's state-owned Oil & Natural Gas Corp(ONGC)has hit oil in its Farsi Block in southwest Iran,according to an Iranian official.In March Iran sealed a deal with ONGC for the development of the Farsi Block."India's ONGC has discovered a new oil field in the Farsi Block in the Persian Gulf,"reported state broadcaster IRIB,citing boss of Iran's state-owned offshore oil company Mahmoud Zirakchianzadeh.
