Exoma Energy has encountered gas in the Bessies-1 shale well on ATP 999P in the Eromanga basin onshore Queensland, Australia. The well had reached a total depth of 3,232ft (985m) and intersected around 131ft (40m) of the primary Toolebuc shale, over an interval between 2,897-3,028ft (883-923m), with gas shows.
