Hurricane Exploration has raised US $32.4m in a share placing, with the funds to be used to pro- duction re-enter and test the Whirlwind oil discov- ery in the UK West of Shetlands area. Hurricane will undertake a series of drill stem tests to further evaluate the reservoir and its fluid properties.
