Dragon Oil, which operates in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, has contracted two platform- based rigs for two years starting in 2013. Dr Abdul Jaleel Al Khalifa, CEO, said: "I am pleased to say that with today's announcement on having secured two platform-based rigs to add to our drilling rig fleet, we have gained more cer- tainty on the drilling programme for 2013. The rigs are to be mobilised shortly after the Dzhygalybeg (Zhdanov) A and B platforms are ready for drilling in Q1 and Q2, 2013 respectively."
