Total has transferred all of its E&P assets in Trinidad to The National Gas Co of Trinidad &Tobago via the sale of Total E&P Trinidad and Elf Exploration Trinidad. These wholly owned subsidiaries hold a 30% stake in Block 2(c), which includes the producing Angostura field, and 8.5% in Block 3(a). Total’s share of production is around 15,000 boe/d. The deal is valued at US $473m and is effective as of 1 January 2012.
