Jakarta-Chandra Asri has allocated $100-million from internal funds for construction of Indonesia's first butadiene production facility, according to local industry reports.The project, to be undertaken by subsidiary Petrokimia Butadiene Indonesia (PBI), will be built at Chandra Asri's complex in Cilegon, Banten, and will be designed to produce 100,000 t/y of butadiene, said PBI Director Suhat Miyarso.
