Nakhodka-Ros-neft's Eastern Petrochemical Co. has started construction on a 3.4-million-t/y petrochemical complex outside Nakhodka in eastern Russia (PCN, 16 July 2012, p 1). The project will produce ethylene, propylene, polypropylene (PP), high- and low-density polyethylene (PE), mo-noethylene glycol and other petrochemicals using feedstock from Rosneft's Achinsk and Komsomolsk refineries and the Angarsk Petrochemical Co.
