Leeds-Essar Oil UK has chosen Brenntag UK & Ireland to distribute toluene from its recently acquired Stanlow refinery in the UK (PCN, 4 Apr 2011, p 2).The 270,000-b/d refinery, the "second biggest" in the UK, was acquired by Essar from Shell last year. The refinery "is capable of producing enough toluene to meet the UK's non-fuel related toluene demand," Brenntag said.
