Marl—Evonik said a 31 Mar. fire at its cyclododecatriene (CDT) plant in Marl, Germany, has restricted its supply of polyamide 12 (PA12) and C12 monomers. The cause of the fire, which claimed two lives, is being investigated by authorities. Evonik has also started its own investigation through an independent expert.
