Saltend—Ineos Enterprises has concluded a new agreement under which BP will supply acetic acid feedstock for Ineos' production of vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) at their joint operations in Saltend, Hull, UK. Ineos noted that the Saltend Chemicals Park is "one of the largest and most efficient VAM production units in the world. With a capacity of 300,000 t/y and full integration into its raw materials, it is the only plant of its kind in Europe."
