Riyadh—The National Shipping Co. of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) said its National Chemical Carriers Ltd. Co. (NCC) subsidiary has accepted delivery of NCC Sama, a 45,000-dwt chemical tanker, from SHINAsb (formerly SLS) of South Korea. Bahri, which holds 80% of NCC, noted this vessel is one of nine contracted by NCC from this yard during 2006 and 2007 with a total value of about SR 1.7-billion.
