Mumbai-GAIL (India) Ltd. is involved in negotiations with Essar Group, HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd. and other major refining companies about a possible naphtha-based petrochemical project, according to Hindustan Times, citing GAIL Chairman and Managing Director B. C. Tripathi.
