Frankfurt— Clariant has opened its new ?100-million Clariant Innovation Center (CIC) in Frankfurt, Germany, which will serve as the company's global hub for research and development (R&D). The CIC will house Clariant's competence centers in chemical research and process technology, application laboratories for several business units, and state-of-the-art analytical laboratories. It will also be the headquarters for the intellectual property management and new business development departments.
